John attended the 1st Annual Scooter Rodeo at the Alex Mackie Lodge in Langford on July 26, 2008.  Residents and friends participated in a pancake breakfast, 'show & shine', parade, RCMP safety course and rodeo contests.  Awards were given out for best costumes and the Scooter Rodeo King and Queen were crowned!  Events ended with a rodeo lunch at the lodge.
